Canon FS200 Review - Positives and Negatives

Tuesday, March 23, 2010 afree

I own the Canon Legria FS200. It is the first video camera that I have ever owned and I don't remember a day since I bought it when I have not used it. My Canon came in a handy carrier bag which has enough room to hold the power cable and the TV connection lead underneath. The other lead I put in with the camera itself.
I take it just about everywhere I go. It has a video mode, a photo mode, and also a joint mode. In the joint mode you can be filming video and just press the photo button and it takes a photo of where the video was up to when you pushed the button.

The Camcorder has a 2.7 inch screen which is adjustable and comes with image processing software.
A list of a few positive and negative points about the Canon FS200 is below:

Nokia N900 Review

afree

At first glance, the Nokia N900 is a sizeable mobile handset. However, considering its overall power coupled with its huge screen and full Qwerty keypad then that is not to much of a surprise, and when we delve a little further neither does it seem a major problem, in fact quite the opposite.

Firstly lets have a look at this devices size. Measuring up at 110.9 x 59.8 x 18mm and weighing 181 grammes this phone can hardly be labelled as compact, but there is good reason behind its bulk. Firstly the N900 features a 3.5" touch sensitive touchscreen. This screen is larger than the majority of handsets that I have looked at and also displays an impressive resolution 480 x 800 pixels.

Sony CyberShot TX7 Review

afree

Today we're looking at one of the hottest cameras announced early January at the annual CES event. It came from the Sony booth and is part of the T series family which are the ultra compact point and shoot cameras. Characteristics of the CyberShot T series is that they are all high end cameras with a thin body and a sliding cover in front of the Carl Zeiss lens. They also wear a heavy price-tag and unfortunately the camera we're discussing today is no different. With a price-tag of $400 and a 2010 February release date, I'm of course talking about the Sony CyberShot TX7.
